From NYC and Long Island (approximately 2 hours) - NY State Thruway (Rt. 87) North to New Paltz Exit 18. At end of ramp turn left onto Rt. 299. Follow the signs for Rt. 32 North. Proceed approx. 7.5 mi. to Rosendale. Immediately after crossing the second bridge take a left onto Route 213 West and go all the way to the end. Turn left onto Rt. 209 South. Drive approx. 5.4 miles and turn right onto Whitfield Rd. (Citgo gas station on corner). Go 1.5 mi. to Lower Whitfield Rd. and turn left. Take 1st left onto Mill Hook Rd. Proceed 1.1 mi. to Elat Chayyim. OR: Take Route 17 (often known as the Quickway) to Exit 113 (Wurtsboro-Ellenville) to Rt. 209 North. Go 23 miles on 209 to Mettacahonts Road. (Look for Rondout Valley Resort sign.) Take a left onto Mettacahonts and then make the first right turn, which is Mill Hook Road.

From New Jersey and Philadelphia - Take the New Jersey Turnpike, go North to Garden State Parkway and North to NY State Thruway (Rt. 87). See directions from NYC.

From Hartford, CT (approximately 2 1/2 hours) - Take 84 West to New York State. Once in New York, take Exit 7 and follow signs to N.Y. State Thruway (Rt. 87) North to Exit 18, New Paltz. Follow directions above from NY State Thruway. (See directions from NYC and Long Island.)

From Boston (4 hours) and Western Massachusetts - Take Mass Turnpike I-90 West to the Taconic Parkway, which you take south to the Red Hook exit. Bear right at the end of the ramp onto 199 West. Watch for signs for Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. Follow 199 West to where it joins 9G South and take it to the Mobil Station on the left. Bear right for the bridge (199 West). Follow signs for the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow signs for 209 South. Travel beyond Stone Ridge to Whitfield Rd. (Citgo gas station on corner) and turn right. Go 1.5 mi. to Lower Whitfield and turn left. Take 1st left onto Mill Hook Rd. Proceed 1.1 mi. to Elat Chayyim. OR: For alternate route, take I-90 all the way to Albany and see directions from Albany.

From Albany (approximately 1 1/2 hours) - Connect with I-87 New York Thruway South to Exit 19 (Kingston, NY). Bear right to Rt. 28 West and right again to Rt. 209 South toward Ellenville. Follow Rt. 209 to Whitfield Rd. (Citgo gas station on corner - approximately 13 miles), and turn right. Go 1.5 mi. to Lower Whitfield and turn left. Take 1st left, which is Mill Hook Rd. Proceed 1.1 mi.

From Buffalo and Syracuse - Take 90 East to Syracuse. From Syracuse, take 81 South to Binghamton. Then take Rt. 17 East (the Quickway) to Exit 113 (Wurtsboro-Ellenville) to Rt. 209 North. Go 23 miles on 209 to Mettacahonts Road. (Look for Rondout Valley Resort sign.) Take a left onto Mettacahonts and then make the first right turn, which is Mill Hook Road.

From Vermont (Williston) - Take Route 189 South to Shelburne Road (US 7) to Vergennes Exit to Rt. 22A. Continue until you come to a right exit saying Route 4 to New York State. Drive a short distance to Whitehall, NY. At the light turn left onto Route 4 and continue on to Fort Ann. At light in Fort Ann turn right onto Rt. 149. Continue until 149 ends at Rt. 9. Turn left onto US 9 to Interstate 87 South.

Ask to get off at the Rosendale Hardware on Route 32 in Rosendale.
